We had some truly amazing youth led projectslaunched during the months of April and May.

Projects that qualified for our iPad contest include:

Help Alyssa Earn Her Pilot's License - a project by Alyssa Celone, an aspiring young woman whos passion is to become a pilot.  Alyssa is doing 2 hours of commmunity service for every hours of flight time she earns through MeritBooster.

We chose the winner as follows:  Every entrant received one contest entry for their project, plus one additional entry for every 1% towards their funding goal that they raised.  Additional entries were earned for each booster, each comment left on a project, the number of porject updates done, and the number of facebook likes and twitter tweets generated by each project.  We created a database of contest entries based on the above criteria, randomized the database 1000 times,  and the winner was then selected at random from all the entries.

And the Winner is:     Alyssa Celone!

Congratulations Alyssa, and congratulations to ALL of our project creators for getting their projects off the ground.  click on the links above to become a booster and show your support for these amazing young people and the awesome projects they are doing.
